Very interesting villa! Garden and pool were the best we could find...! Attention to every detail inside home with high quality of furnitures and interiors in general. Nothing to complaint...except to leave the house after our fantastic holiday week :-) August 2016

Summary

Brezza di Lula has been completely and magnificently re-designed and restored resulting in an elegant and comfortable villa. It is immersed in a leafy residential area behind the Capo Gallo nature reserve, just 2.5 kms from Mondello beach. An immaculately cared for garden surrounds the house and chlorine-free pool. The villa boasts fabulous views of the rocky mountain of Capo Gallo.

Property details

The house is immersed in a large lawned garden and the splendid overflow pool is surrounded by century-old olive trees and palms. The pool deck is equipped with comfy sun-loungers, deckchairs and two hammocks in the shade of the tamarix tree for relaxing in. At the entrance of the house the large covered patio is the ideal place for enjoying a meal or a drink at the table for eight or in the outdoor lounges. The house spreads over 3 floors and the entrance leads into a spacious dining/living room with comfy couches, table for 8 and fabulous picture windows to make the most of the views of the pool and the mountains beyond. For the music inclined there is also a fully functioning 1956 Wurlitzer juke-box. Off here lies the super new kitchen with shiny bench tops, Sicilian touches and marble sinks. If you are fond of cooking you will have the time of your life in this kitchen equipped with all the modern cons you could dream of. Glass doors from the kitchen lead out onto a terrace where there is a barbecue area and outdoor cooking facilities. From the dining /living area, large sliding doors lead off into a double bedroom with its own bathroom and office. Steps from the living room lead up to a loft area and an outdoor terrace which is ideal for enjoying views of the night sky or the pool lights! Another staircase from the living area leads down to the bedrooms where there is the master bedroom with ensuite, Turkish bath as well as shower and bath for two. On this level there is another double bedroom and a single (with a three-quarter bed) that share a bathroom equipped with a double shower. Off the master bedroom there is a superb little garden area where oriental atmosphere abounds. There is a laundry on this floor too.

The house is ideally located just 500 metres from the village of Partanna Mondello. The sunny holiday atmosphere at Mondello beach is just 2.5 kms from the house though if it's quieter swimming you are fond of then you might enjoy The Nature Reserve of Capo Gallo which is a stone's throw away. The entrance to the motorway that leads to Trapani and the Palermo airport is a short 2 kms away and if it's excitement and bustle you're after then a 15-minute pleasant drive through The Favorita Park gets you to Palermo which abounds in museums, history and masterpieces. A day trip to Scopello, the Riserva dello Zingaro, Erice, Saline di Trapani e Paceco or San Vito lo Capo while in the Trapani neighbourhood are well worth it and if you want to go further afield you might like to catch the hydrofoil from Trapani to the isole Egadi. Eateries, seafood restaurants, gelateries and coffee shops abound in nearby Mondello and you can also hire a boat here and head to The marine reserve at Isole delle Femmine or the famous Grotta dell'Olio. We recommend a walk round the lively seaside town of Sferracavallo and while you are there, an ice-cream at "La delizia"is a must. Devoting a morning or afternoon to the Reserve at Barcarello where you can admire the cliffs and views is also advisable. Not far from the house there are many excellent restaurants to choose from, such as Villa Clelia, Villa Antigone, Le Antiche Mura and Da Franco. For a romantic dinner by candle-light there is Bye-Bye Blues or Badalamenti Cucina e Bottega too or the Charleston in Mondello which is famous for its Liberty decor and views of the bay of Mondello.
