Michel, Belgium

We spent a lovely week at Kalette in August. The place is lovely, it was nice to walk to Cefalù and enjoy its nice views and seafront restaurants. Loved the food!

Summary

This delightful house is located in the most exclusive area of Cefalu where the well-off locals have been spending their summers for generations. The villas and houses are all well cared for and the gardens rich in Mediterranean vegetation. The property is located in the Kaldura district just a short distance out of town which is a pleasant 15 - minute stroll away. This is perhaps one of the most desirable places on the island, both because of its view of the Faraglioni rocks and its proximity to a divine sandy beach with crystal clear waters. This particular beach is the towns best kept secret-it's hardly ever crowded even at the height of summer and it can be reached down a stairway from the house.

Property details

This recently renovated house is situated in a peaceful location and is surrounded by an immaculate Mediterranean garden. The sea views from the terrace above the house are a dream and to get to the beach you just follow the stone steps from the garden. The tastefully furnished, inviting rooms provide an ambience that will enfold you in coolness and calm. The ground floor consists of a kitchen/living room with television, a dining area and a small bathroom. Four steps lead to a double bedroom with sea view while another wooden staircase leads to the lower floor. Here, a single bedroom at the entrance (not private) leads to a bathroom and to a bedroom with three single beds, two of which are bunk beds.
