Buganza Emanuela

It was all very satisfactory about welcome and the quality of the location and support. My best compliments July 2014

Christine from Stocholm

The Villa Oasis is in Mazzeo/Letojanni, about 15 mns driving from Taormina. This was a bit our worry at first as we were without a car and not planning to rent any but it proves in the end not to be a problem at all. The bus stop is just behind the residence, about 50 meters and buses to Taormina are coming twice every hour.
The appartment itself is amazing, lots of space, very well equiped, TV, airco and a lovely and a big terrace with view of the sea. There is also a lovely little private beach with access to the sea,
The staff is nice and friendly. The area is nice, there is a little shop near by but it is very small, you have to walk a lot further in the center of Letojanni to find a bigger shop (still quite small). With a car, it is less of a problem of course. Tarmina, is a delight and there are many things to see and to do
Very good place overal! July 2013

Summary

This splendid complex of interlocking apartments sweeps down to the beach of Mazzeo, a small seaside location just a few steps away from Taormina, the famous seaside resort overlooking the Ionian Sea. The elegant complex and all the flats have smart and stylish furnishings and deco throughout but perhaps the most winning feature is the priceless seaview and direct access to the beach in one of this island’s most beautiful stretches of coastline.

The location here is undoubtely appealing as you not only get the best of the Ionian coast but it's also just a skip away from Taormina which can be reached by cable railway too (only a few kms away). Taormina has long been Sicily's most famous resort with its endlessly winding medieval streets and passages that are lined with great restaurants, cafés and ice cream bars. If the town is beautiful by day, it is simply stunning when lit up at night. Taormina’s main attraction however is the impressive Greek Theatre which has one of the most beautiful settings imaginable. It sits some 250 metres above sea level with a world famous view of the Mediterranean Sea and Mount Etna. There are other interesting tourist attractions in the area as well, such as Etna Park , the Alcantara Gorges and some of the little villages such as Castiglione di Sicilia, Novara di Sicilia, Santa Maria la Scala, Acitrezza, Militello in Val di Catania, Palazzolo Acreide and Caltagirone are worth a visit too. Not to be missed is a trip to Catania and its markets, to Ortigia and Syracuse’s Archaeological Park. There is certainly a lot to fit in!
