The villa is 7 km from Noto, a small baroque gem, perched on an upland plain, where at sunset the light changes the colour of the majestic buildings to gold. Noto has been declared world heritage site by UNESCO, which has named it world capital of "Sicilian Baroque". Siracusa can be reached in half an hour by car, with its important historical-artistic richness of Greek domination (The Greek Theatre) and the beautiful Island of Ortigia, full of small craft shops and bars, delightful by day and also at night. In the direction of Ragusa, the fascinating cities of Modica perched on a valley, the old city of Ragusa Ibla, and the lovely town of Scicli, rich in art and cultural events, are all within easy reach. The beautiful and long beaches of golden sand of the south coast of Noto are twenty minutes away from the villa, in the direction of Pachino. San Lorenzo, the Vendicari Reserve , the beach of Calamosche, the uncontaminated beaches of Eloro, rich in white lilies and wild iris that grow on the sandy trails. From the villa, the view of the Ionian Sea reaches as far as the striking Island of Correnti, the extreme southern tip of Sicily, meeting point of the Ionian and the Mediterranean Seas.
