Ragusa

An astonishing location between the sparkling sea and the sun-parched earth. An upmarket hideaway with breathtaking views.

We all deserve to live within spaces that will calm, nourish and nurture our senses so if that's what you crave then this strikingly individual villa is the ideal choice. The white walls and uncluttered spaces of the interior are drowned in light thanks to the feature sliding doors and windows that harmoniously connect to the exterior and let in the pristine landscapes. The house sits gracefully on a promontory and has 180° views all the way to the sea. There are plenty of nooks and spots to call your own if you are seeking privacy too. A bocce court sits to the back of the house by an oak wood which is the ideal spot for enjoying the cool breeze on hot summer days if you don't feel like lolling by the pool. This place is as close to heaven as possible so if you wish to pamper the soul, you may well have stumbled on just the spot.

Surrounding Area

Ragusa

The villa is located just 9 kms from the splendid baroque town of Ragusa Ibla with its remarkably unspoilt historical centre and character-filled lanes. The main artery of the town is the perfect venue for the evening "passeggiata". About 15 kms from the property lies the Irminio River Oasis which is now a wildlife protected area where the vegetation typical of the Mediterranean joins the clear sea and shallow water. If you do holiday here, you can't miss a visit to the Donnafugata Castle and the village of Sampieri, which are both just a hop, skip and jump from the house. An easy drive gets you to the other UNESCO World Heritage towns of Noto, Modica, Scicli and Ispica. The vast archeological park and the island of Ortigia in Syracuse are also within easy reach, as well as the amazing nature reserves of Cavagrande del Cassibile and Vendicari, the gorgeous beach at Pozzallo, the Ispica Caves as well as Caltagirone. The nearby archeological site and nature reserve at Pantalica is well-worth visiting too.
