The villa develops around the characteristic central courtyard which gives access to the ground floor, to the garden and to the swimming pool area. The ground floor of the villa, which covers almost 300m2, features high vaults that bear witness to the imposing and sober architecture of the ancient warehouses of the Sicilian countryside. The ancient "carrittaria" (cart room) has been converted into a spacious living area with dining room, kitchen and sitting room. The 3 bedrooms, set in high bare stone vaults, can accommodate up to 10 people. The first large suite has a double bed and a comfortable large sofa bed for two; in the second suite, there is a double bed on the ground floor and another double bed on the mezzanine floor; in the third there is a double four poster bed. Each has its own en-suite bathroom. On this floor there is also a large bathroom for physically disabled guests. From the secret garden, a stone staircase gives access to the royal floor of the house. A large panoramic terrace, which overlooks the meadows and the sea to the south, gives access to the Baron's house. The apartment gives the opportunity to alternate reading and conversation in the fireplace room with lunches in the elegant dining room. Three spacious double bedrooms and three bathrooms join the rustic Sicilian style kitchen. On the opposite side, a long north facing terrace allows to enjoy relaxing moments with a view of the dry walls and the countryside north of the villa.

The electricity supply of this house is 100% renewable.

The caretaker lives in a small apartment with independent access where the villa is located. During summer, the owner avails of a small apartment in the Baglio. He personally looks after the maintenance of the swimming pool and the garden. It is a very discreet presence and useful for the care and maintenance of the Baglio. The owner has no access to the garden of the house or to the interiors which are dedicated exclusively to the guests.

The municipality may require the payment of the daily tourist tax for all guests aged 12 and over. The amount, which may vary according to the season and the location, must be paid in cash to the reception manager upon arrival.
