Siracusa

Unique and sensational position and naturalistic zone, the house rises on the tip of one of the most spectacular promontories of Sicily, not recommended for those who suffer from seasickness!

It would take a great poet from the past to tell the charm and enchantment of this place. In this magical place, you can make peace with the world and feel an integral part of the universe; all the senses will participate as one to the enjoyment. The first sensation is of finding oneself on the bridge of an immense ship in perfect solitude, cradled by the sound of the sea with the marine breeze that caresses your face, in the background a flock of migratory birds dances in the wind and a boat which rides the waves making space for itself among the sunrays, majestic in the background, the sound of silence.

Surrounding Area

Siracusa

The marine reserve of Plemmirio stretches south of Syracuse from Punta Castelluccio and Punta di Milocca towards Capo Murro di Porco, which is on the edge of the Peninsula della Maddalena. The highest plateau of the Peninsula reaches 54 mt above sea level before sloping gently back down to the sea again. Along its coast are enchanting caves, white rocks and little sandy inlets. The sea is uncontaminated and and the area is rich in mediterranean fauna that has elsewhere disappeared. It's an easy drive to the beautiful beaches along the south-east coast including Portopalo di Capopassero, and the wonderful beaches in the Vendicari Reserve. In addition to Syracuse and its archaeological park, there are many Baroque towns in the area such as Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Noto, Palazzolo Acreide, Scicli as well as the reserves of Pantalica and Cavagrande del Cassibile. Heading north, a one-hour drive will get you to Parco dell'Etna, Gole dell'Alcantara and Taormina.
