Die Villa war ein Traum! Die Organisation war top und alles war sehr gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Stadt Terrasini ist nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und hat uns super gut gefallen. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen wieder!

This is a beautiful villa, with incredible views and amazing sunsets. The views are even better than the photos suggest. It was perfect for us (7 adults and 1 baby), and the nearby town of Terrasini has some lovely restaurants and supermarkets. You can also walk about 5 minutes to amazing coves to take a swim. We will definitely be back! Ale the host was incredible, she was very responsive and very friendly!

Die Unterkunft sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern, auch die Beschreibung passt perfekt. Die Villa ist wirklich wunderschön und perfekt, mit einem Traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Alessandra ist auch sehr nett, sie hat uns zu Beginn alles erklärt und wir konnten sie jederzeit um Hilfe bitten. Gerne wieder!

Die Villa Solemar hat einen traumhaften Ausblick, ist schön und modern eingerichtet und absolut ruhig gelegen. Tolle Villa in phantastischer Lage. Haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Der Meereszugang ist allerdings nicht für Nichtschwimmer geeignet, man gelangt über eine Treppe gleich ins tiefe Wasser. Dafür ist das Wasser glasklar und lädt jeden Schwimmer zum reinspringen ein

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in der Villa Solemar verbracht (4 Erwachsene und 1 Kleinkind). Die Villa ist traumhaft gelegen und jeden Abend konnten wir einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang draussen oder im Pool geniesse. Trotz der Nähe zum Flughafen ist es sehr ruhig. Einzig an das Abfallmanagement (komplette Abfalltrennung) mussten wir uns gewöhnen, auch weil die Instruktion nicht optimal war. Es gibt in Terrasini eine zentrale Recycling Stelle, welche die Abfallentsorung vereinfacht - das mussten wir bspw. selbst herausfinden. Wir können uns sehr gut vorstellen, in die Villa Solemar zurückzukehren. Besonder hervorheben möchten wir nochmals die traumhafte Lage und den wunderschönen Pool. Grazie mille!

Vacanza magnifica nella stupenda Villa Solemar. Vista mozzafiato sul mare. Bella piscina. Casa strutturata molto bene, arredata con gusto, fornita di tutto quanto serve. Posizione comoda, vicino all’aeroporto. Silenziosa. Accoglienza calorosa ed efficiente dal team hitsicily.

Overview

The villa, renovated and furnished by the owner, a skilled French architect of Sicilian descent, is rich in details and highly fascinating in its style and Mediterranean colours. What strikes the heart and soul the most and leaves the guest breathless is the view which can be enjoyed from every corner of the house and garden, a superb view of the coast which surrounds the gulf of Castellamare as far as the famous Capo San Vito. Next to the house is a small lane that leads to a cove by the sea, where you can stop and sunbathe with easy access to the water for a swim.

Property details

The house is situated on a headland which allows it to enjoy a magnificent view from all sides of the house. The large garden that surrounds the house consists of a large patio covered by bamboo canes furnished with armchairs and a dining table to seat 8. There is also a sun deck with a beautiful resin Infinity pool and a lawn with armchairs and chairs in front of the sea to enjoy the beauty of nature including the spectacular sunsets. There is room for parking and a table tennis table at the back of the house. The magnificent panoramic terrace above the house treats to a breathtaking view. The house is on a single floor; internally, it is furnished in a modern style with high quality furniture which makes it a fresh and elegant feel. Sea side there is an open space with a large French window which connects it to the patio; inside there is a sofa area, an equipped kitchen and a lunch area. The sleeping area is composed of two bright and spacious double rooms (one of them with sea view) and en-suite bathrooms, a twin bedroom (which can be turned into a double bedroom), a triple bedroom with two bunk beds and a single bed (with sea view). For these two bedrooms there is a third bathroom with shower.

Additional information

According to the waste disposal regulations of the municipality of Terrasini, all guests of the Solemar property are kindly asked to follow the instructions provided by the owner and which you will comfortably find inside the house. For each type of waste (eg plastic, glass, organic etc.) a specific day of the week and specific times are dedicated: the relative bags must be stored outside the entrance the evening before the day set for collection and in plain sight ( e.g. if you dispose of plastic on Tuesday, it will have to be stored outside on Monday evening).

For waste accumulated on the last day prior to departure, guests will have the opportunity to dispose of it at the Terrasini Ecological Island, open every day from 07:00 to 13:00.

In the event that the waste will not be disposed of, a tax equal to the sum of 150 euros will be applied.

The municipality may require the payment of the daily tourist tax for all guests aged 12 and over. The amount, which may vary according to the season and the location, must be paid in cash to the reception manager upon arrival.

Surrounding Area

The house is located along the Terrasini coastline, approx. 30 km north west of Palermo in the direction of Trapani. The town of Terrasini is 2km away and enjoys a good number of tourists in summer. The town offers a variety of good pubs, restaurants and pizzerias. The house is strategically positioned to visit all the tourist destinations of western Sicily, including Erice, the Saltmines of Trapani and Paceco, the Phoenician island of Mozia, the Archaeological park of Selinunte and Segesta, the Zingaro Nature Reserve in the nearby Scopello and the magnificent beaches of San Vito lo Capo. Terrasini is very close to the airports of Palermo (approx. 10 minutes by car) and Trapani (approx. 30 minutes by car). It is also conveniently positioned to visit Palermo and Monreale which can be reached by car in 30 minutes. Among the day-trips we recommend a visit to the Egadi islands (Marettimo, Favignana and Levanzo) which can be reached in 30 minutes by hydrofoil from Trapani. The house is also very close to Palermo airport (17 km), but no airplane noise can be heard from the house.
