The most fascinating place we've ever been! So peculiar, I fell in love with it. The lovely apartment has been attentively renovated with attention to details and love. Well-equipped for our needs. The view over Noto is simply breathtaking. We'll definitely come back!

Ci siamo divertiti moltissimo qui. Si tratta di una casa davvero speciale e unica, situata nella posizione più meravigliosa.
Tutto perfetto. Soggiorniamo sempre in una villa quando andiamo in vacanza e dobbiamo dire che questo è uno dei posti più belli in cui siamo stati, molto particolare e ben tenuto. La cucina è ben attrezzata, i letti sono comodissimi, la c asa è pulita e gli arredi sono di qualità. La piscina ben curata e, generalmente, una location davvero tranquilla.

OMG! The top floor bedroom, bathroom and terrace are amazing. The view over Noto is wonderful and the sea view to the east is equally enchanting. The hosts of this beautiful villa were absolutely superb: available at any time for anything we requested, such as advice on restaurants, clubs, beaches and shops. So was hitsicily, always available! We are sorry that our holiday has ended, but we cherish the fondest memories of a very special holiday in a very beautiful property.

Overview

Original ancient Dammuso in stone built in the early 20th century as a rural dwelling with thick stone walls to protect from the heat. It has been restored and is now a warm and intimate residence, ideal for a holiday immersed in the wild nature that surrounds it. This quiet corner is simply perfect for an unforgettable holiday. Relax on the terrace in the evening, as you enjoy the fresh air of the countryside and the breathtaking view over the baroque lit-up city of Noto.

Property details

The Dammuso Noto is a typical Sicilian rural house, recently renovated with taste, built with thick stone walls that give it a unique and unmistakable character. A place capable of giving you a very characteristic atmosphere in full island style. The interior consists of a single body divided into two floors: on the ground floor there is the living room with a large living area with two sofabeds, enriched with unique pieces and colored patchwork fabrics. On the same floor there is an equipped kitchen and a bright double bedroom with access to the outdoor patio and with ensuite bathroom with a breathtaking view over the wonderful countryside of Noto. Opposite the kitchen outside there is a bamboo cane patio with dining table and barbecue. On the mezzanine on the first floor there is the magnificent double bedroom with direct access to a scenic terrace overlooking the sea to the west and the historic center of Noto to the east. The terrace has a patio with chairs, cushions and rugs. The Dammuso has a private outdoor swimming pool.

Discount of 10% for stays longer than 7 days.

The swimming pool is open from May to October.

The municipality may require the payment of the daily tourist tax for all guests aged 12 and over. The amount, which may vary according to the season and the location, must be paid in cash to the reception manager upon arrival.

Surrounding Area

The splendid baroque town of Noto with her cathedral and striking buildings with intricate facades is just a few kms from the house and if it's Baroque masterpieces you are fond of then you won't need to drive far to get to any of the other famous towns in the area such as Ispica, Ragusa Ibla, Palazzolo Acreide, Modica and Scicli. For nature-lovers then there's the Nature Reserve of Vendicari with its gorgeous beaches (we recommend Cala Mosche) and Cavagrande del Cassibile too where a walk down to the spectacular gorge takes about an hour. The small seaside village of Marzamemi is a bit further afield but well worth making a day trip for.
If you are a golf-lover you can visit the Donnaluca Resort which is not far from the Castello di Donnafugata which is a fine palace indeed and dates back to the 17th century. The location for the Italian television series "Montalbano" is nearby too at Punta Secca.
