Until now, you thought that New York was the city that never sleeps but San Vito Lo Capo is no exception! Located on the north-western coast of Sicily, in the province of Trapani, San Vito Lo Capo (or Santu Vitu as defined in the local dialect) is the ideal place for your adventures. Not surprisingly, it is among the most popular destinations for national and international tourists.

In fact, 2022 will be a season full of tourism and events for all tastes: from theater to music, from sport to religious re-enactment, from cinema to culinary art. And you won't have to wait for the summer, the events will start as early as the end of April!
The “A Tutto Sport” will open the season, from 21 to 25 April: many sport disciplines with hundreds of young athletes from all over Italy. From 23 to 29 May, the very famous and long-awaited "Kite Festival" will take place and offers different workshops and shows. Then it will be the turn of June that will start in style with "Zero barriere", dedicated to the accessible sport, and with the dance of "Tango Marathon" followed by the celebrations in honor of San Vito, with the historical re-enactment of the patron's landing. From 17 to 19 June it will be the turn of the "San Vito Buskers", entirely dedicated to circus and street art. July will instead be aimed at "Siciliambiente Film Festival" (an event dedicated to environmental issues, sustainability and human rights) and sport with "Streetball Bomgrounnd West Sicily" (outdoor basketball) while for the end of the month "Baglio, oil and sea" is expected, celebration of local gastronomic excellences.

There are already many experiences that you could have in this wonderful town in the province of Trapani, but if you need other ideas for your holidays, read on because the events did not end here!

From July to September, you can let yourself be carried away by the notes of classical music, or evenings under the banner of Swing, or you can enjoy excellent literature and cinema by the sea. August will be frantic with its "Beach Soccer" and music and entertainment with Radio Deejay's "Vertical Summer Tour". You can't miss in September the third edition of "Sua-San Vito Urban Art", with great street artists ready to color and draw around the city, and the "Cous Cous Fest", the International Festival of cultural integration. And why not end in October with the "Outdoor Fest" dedicated to outdoor sports such as climbing, mountain biking, paragliding and trekking?

In short, what better place to spend your holidays in Sicily?
