In the heart of the splendid Nebrodi Park, in the province of Messina and in particular in the territory of Mistretta, you will find this wonderful naturalistic place that every year attracts hundreds of tourists not only local but also international: the Valley of the Waterfalls. This wonderful river site is made up of 10 waterfalls that follow each other in a few kilometers: on the right side, along the side of Monte Piano (950m), the Argentea waterfall (8m), Pietrebianche (33m), Salto del Cerbiatto (6m) and the Velo di Sposa waterfall (15m); on the left side, dominated by Monte Castelli (1566m) rise the Carrivalli Rosy Grace waterfall (10m), Acquasanta (6m) and the Cascata delle Fate (25m) whose name is inspired by the suggestive refraction of the sun that is created on it giving rainbow life. The two canyons with their respective streams meet after a few kilometers, merging into a single stream which gives rise to a further jump: the waterfall of Love (7m) so called due to the presence of the maidenhair fern, a fern that prefers shady and humid areas and also known as the coma of Venus. At the end of the stream, before it flows into the Serravalle river, the Kuttufa waterfall closes the complex. Ten different stages of this delightful path that will undoubtedly leave you speechless for its natural beauty and for the fact that it is still unspoiled. The excursions are organized throughout the year except in cases of weather warnings. They are open to everyone, from children to the elderly as they present different levels of difficulty, and have been carried out since 2015 by the "Valle delle Cascate" environmental-cultural association. In addition to river trekking, the members of the association offer a sensory journey in all respects, adding information on the flora present from the many spontaneous plants and natural remedies and on the animals that can be encountered since the place is still in a primitive state. What better place to let yourself be enveloped by nature and the sun of north-eastern Sicily during your holidays?

To get to the village of Mistretta it is necessary to take the A19 motorway towards Catania - Messina and then continue on the A20 towards Messina. Continue to the Santo Stefano di Camastra exit and then take the SS117 towards via D'Amico in Mistretta. On the site you will find the indications to reach this enchanted place which is the Valley of the Waterfalls.
