Summary

This fabulous house is situated in the most desirable area of Cefalù just outside the town, in what is considered to be one of the most fascinating places in Sicily. The promontory upon which the house sits is completely surrounded by water and 3 small beaches are tucked away and hidden in its rocky folds. The property and its stunningly panoramic position with superb sea views is immersed in lush lawns and a well-cared-for garden and overlooks the “Faraglioni” (outer rocks) of Cefalù. A private beach can be reached via the garden gate and on the other side of the house, steps lead down to a rocky platform by the beautiful cobalt-blue sea. Access to the beach is reserved to the owners of the surrounding villas so even at the height of summer it is quite often deserted.

Property details

A smart and luxurious villa, tastefully furnished with selected pieces of antique furniture and paintings. The owners flair and attention to detail has created a cool and relaxing atmosphere. To one side of the house there is a large patio surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation and below here an outdoor table for 8, armchairs and couches making it the ideal spot for dining by candle light as night falls. Adjacent to this is the barbecue area and outoor cooking facilities too. To the other side is a splendid lawned garden with lots of hidden corners overlooking the beach and the rocks below. Inside, on the ground floor, there is a sitting room with a large picture window looking out to sea, a dining room, a small living room with a fireplace and the kitchen. Upstairs, on the first floor there are four bedrooms in total - two twin bedrooms and two doubles - and 3 bathrooms (one with a tub for a relaxing soak) and a small study with a fireplace. Three of the bedrooms have spectacular views-what a way to start the day!
