Overview
Immersed in the bucolic countryside of Syracuse, in the immediate surroundings of the famous baroque city of Noto, there is a timeless treasure: the elegant baglio of the Sipione family. A heritage of their history, this centuries-old manor unveils its essence in the central courtyard around which the main palace, stables and warehouses are located. A space adorned with the whispering elegance of carob trees and the vibrant hues of flowers and tree species typical of the place, creating a kaleidoscope of colours and scents.
As the sun weaves its way through the intricate branches of the trees, casting dappled shadows upon the historical stones, in a corner of the garden an inviting swimming pool welcomes you, a refreshing place to enjoy the magical atmosphere of the place.
This sacred trust, passed down from generation to generation, bears witness to the strong bond of affection that unites this place to the owners' family. The baglio, meticulously preserved with a blend of love and reverence, transcends mere bricks and mortar. Its value does not lie exclusively in its architectural richness, but in the intangible tapestry of sentiment that intertwines as one travels along the farm from the gardens to its ancient and precious environments.
The baglio offers an unparalleled panorama of the surrounding countryside—a canvas painted with hues of green and gold where, in the distance, cows graze lazily silhouetted against the backdrop of rolling hills. The Villa is located in a hilly position from which the Ionian and Mediterranean seas can be seen in the background, and in a privileged position for exploring the entire territory of south-eastern Sicily. Catania, the Etna volcano, Syracuse, the Noto Valley, Ragusa Ibla and all the tourist places and countless beaches of the area are easily reachable for comfortable daily excursions. The air is alive with the timeless sounds of nature, a melodic harmony that carries echoes of a bygone but still alive and shining era.
