We spent a wonderful week at villa artemare, which unfortunately passed too quickly. We enjoyed every moment and will already miss the amazing view and the beautiful pool. Thank you very much for your hospitality and your availability. We hope to return another time

Overview

Artemare is a prestigious villa by the sea with private pool, a few kilometers from the historic center of Ortigia. Located on the Maddalena Peninsula, along one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in eastern Sicily, the residence offers a breathtaking view of the bay of Syracuse, to be enjoyed in absolute relaxation from the exclusive infinity pool and its spacious terraces. The villa gives you the opportunity to enjoy a good meal either in the bright indoor dining room or outside in the cool patio overlooking the sea. You can read a good book in the shady relaxation area on the ground floor terrace or rest on the sofas in the living room while your loved one plays "Claire de Lune" on the piano. The villa also has private and direct access to the crystal clear sea of the Plemmirio Marine Reserve.

Property details

Recently built, this exclusive contemporary residence features refined and spacious interiors which are characterized by the presence of authentic design pieces. Artemare is divided into two levels: on the ground floor, you will find a large and elegant living area with a comfortable relaxation zone with sofas and TV, dining room, fully fitted and spacious kitchen, a guest bathroom and 3 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms with shower. On the first floor, through a comfortable staircase from the living room, you will find a double bedroom, bathroom with b athtub view, a study and a small terrace. This comfortable environment is fully air-conditioned and heated and is equipped with Wi-Fi. Outside, you will be lulled by the sea breeze in the wonderful shaded patio divided into a dining area and a relaxation area. The infinity pool, fitted with solarium, will leave you speechless while on one side you will enjoy the wonderful sea view and on the other the garden view.

Additional information

The municipality may require the payment of the daily tourist tax for all guests aged 12 and over. The amount, which may vary according to the season and the location, must be paid in cash to the reception manager upon arrival.

The villa is located 10 minutes by car from the wonderful Plemmirio marine reserve which extends south of Syracuse from Punta Castelluccio and Punta di Milocca passing through Capo Murro di Porco which is the tip of the peninsula where the dwelling is located called the Maddalena Peninsula . On its coast there are enchanting caves, with white rocks and small tongues of sand. The protected sea has remained uncontaminated and it is easy to meet various species of Mediterranean fauna that have disappeared elsewhere. Just 500m away, you will find the suggestive Punta Carrozza beach with golden sand and bathed by the cool Ionian Sea. Alternatively, from the villa you can easily reach the many beaches that meet along the south-eastern coast in the direction of Portopalo di Capopassero, including those of the Vendicari Reserve. And why not take the opportunity to snorkel or dive inside the magnificent Plemmirio Marine Reserve? Beyond Syracuse, rich in history and culture with its archaeological park and wonderful Greek Theater, all the cities of the Sicilian Baroque are within easy reach: Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Noto, Palazzolo Acreide, Scicli (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) as well as the reserves of Pantalica and Cavagrande del Cassibile. To the north in just over an hour by car you can visit the Etna Park, the Alcantara Gorges and Taormina.
For and not limited to all cinema lovers, we also recommend a visit to Punta Secca, the place where the house of "Detective Montalbano" is located, the protagonist of the homonymous TV series inspired by the novels of Camilleri.
