Villa Anthea is such a special place. The house is very comfortable with everything you need to relax and cook. We enjoyed some great barbecues and oved eating at the table with the view to the marina. The pool was fantastic, the children loved it. We enjoyed many evnings on the terrace with a drink watching the stunning sunste. This will stay with us long after we leave Sicily. We visited Agrigento and Selinunte, we saw the Turkish steps and the beach at Eraclea Minoa, one of the most beautiful beatches. Bovo Marina is an easy walk and the bar at the Locanda restaurant is super with a brilliant view. Happy days!

We were so lucky to have found 'Villa Anthea', the perfect hoiday home in the most beautiful surrounding. Great attention to detail! Overview

Anthea is an exclusive villa with a private pool located in a splendid panoramic position, on the edge of the Torre Salsa nature reserve, near Agrigento. Equipped with large terraces, equipped for a pleasant life outdoors, this comfortable villa is just 700 metres from the sandy beach of Bovo Marina, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt on the southern coast of Sicily. Ideal home for relaxing holidays by the sea, Villa Anthea is also an excellent base for exploring the enchanting scenery of southern Sicily: from the nearby beaches and nature reserves of Torre Salsa and the mouth of the Platani River, to the cliffs of the Scala dei Turchi , from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, to Sciacca and Selinunte.

Property details

Distributed on a single floor, the welcoming interiors of Anthea are furnished with taste and attention to detail. Here you may find a comfortable living room with sofas and a TV corner, a spacious and fully equipped built-in kitchen, two bright double bedrooms, one of which with ensuite bathroom, a twin bedroom and another bathroom with shower. Outside, the villa is ready to give you wonderful refreshing moments in its private pool and you can enjoy the warm Sicilian sun while lying comfortably on the loungers or reading a good book or sipping good Sicilian wine under the gazebo near the pool. The shaded dining area under the patio will allow you to spend lunches and dinners in harmony while the adjoining relaxation area will allow you to enjoy the quiet during the hottest hours of the day. And as if that weren't enough, there is also a large covered outdoor barbecue area at your disposal with a comfortable dining table. There are "safety gates for children" to close off access to the pool.

The swimming pool is open from 01/04 to 30/11. it has safety gates to close access to children.

The municipality may require the payment of the daily tourist tax for all guests aged 12 and over. The amount, which may vary according to the season and the location, must be paid in cash to the reception manager upon arrival.

Surrounding Area

If it's a seaside holiday in a secluded area you're after then this is the ideal spot. The whispering of the wind and the chirping of migratory birds are the only sounds you'll hear while soaking up the Sicilan sun. For those who like exploring there's also plenty to see in the surrounding area. We recommend the Valle dei Templi in Agrigento, Selinunte’s archaeological park, Sciacca and its thermal baths, the Salt Pans of Trapani and Paceco and the numerous oases and reserves with beaches in this area such as Scala dei Turchi in Realmonte and the Platani river Reserve, the beaches of Eraclea Minoa and Contrada San Giorgio. You may however, end up spending all your time in the Nature Reserve of Torre Salsa.
